Creating a TonightPass account is quick and easy. Follow this step-by-step guide to get started with your event journey.

Overview

TonightPass offers two ways to create your account:

Quick Sign-Up (Recommended): Use your existing Google, Facebook, or Twitter account for instant registration with basic profile import.

Complete Sign-Up: Follow our 4-step process to create a full TonightPass account with custom settings and detailed profile information.

Both methods take just a few minutes and require email verification to get started.

Quick Sign-Up (Social)

For the fastest registration, sign up using your existing social accounts:

• Google: Use your Google account for instant setup
• Facebook: Connect with Facebook to import basic profile info
• Twitter: Sign up with Twitter for quick registration

When using social sign-up:

• We'll import your basic profile information (name, email, profile picture)
• You can still set a TonightPass-specific password later
• Your social accounts remain private unless you choose to share them
• You can complete additional profile details after registration

Sign Up Process

The sign-up process consists of 4 simple steps:

Step 1: Contact Information

First, you'll need to provide your contact details:

1. Email Address: Enter a valid email address

   • You'll receive a verification email
   • This will be your primary login method

2. Phone Number: Add your phone number

   • Used for security and notifications
   • Must be a valid mobile number

Step 2: Create Your Profile

Next, personalize your account:

1. Username: Choose a unique username

   • Must be 3-48 characters long
   • Can only contain letters, numbers, underscores, and hyphens
   • This will be your public identifier (e.g., @yourname)

2. Profile Picture (Optional): Upload an avatar

   • Recommended size: 400x400 pixels
   • Supported formats: JPG, PNG
   • You can add or change this later

Step 3: Personal Information

Provide your identity details:

1. First Name: Your given name
2. Last Name: Your family name
3. Date of Birth: Select your birth date
   • You must be at least 18 years old
   • Used to verify age for age-restricted events
4. Gender: Select your gender
   • Used for personalized recommendations
   • You can choose not to specify

Step 4: Secure Your Account

Create a strong password:

1. Password Requirements:

   • At least 8 characters long
   • Contains at least one uppercase letter
   • Contains at least one lowercase letter
   • Contains at least one number or special character

2. Security Tips:

   • Use a unique password for TonightPass
   • Consider using a password manager
   • Enable two-factor authentication after sign-up

Account Types

After creating your account, you can choose how you want to use TonightPass:

Email Verification

After completing the sign-up process:

1. Check your email inbox for a verification message
2. Click the verification link in the email
3. If you don't see it, check your spam folder
